these songs were written during a two-week artist residency in ucross, wyoming. they were recorded during a one-week residency at the art farm studios, sebastopol, california.

this was an impromptu session that occurred in oakland at spark studios during the convergence of a tour with bill frisell that kenny was on and a visit i was making back to the bay area to play some gigs.
with no rehearsal we got together in the studio and this is what happened.
